Hydro Ottawa is committed to providing our customers with the safe and reliable delivery of electricity. Hydro Ottawa, like other electricity distributors in Ontario, has its own Conditions of Service document that officially and transparently, describes Hydro Ottawa’s operating practices, connection policies and the types and level of service available to the public in our service territory.
Hydro Ottawa has revised its Conditions of Service. Effective May 15, 2007, this revised Conditions of Service replaces any pre-existing Conditions of Service document.
Hydro Ottawa’s Conditions of Service is an important document for residential and commercial customers, contractors and developers, generators and the suppliers we conduct business with on a regular basis. It includes information on charges, payment plan options and security deposits, as well as regulations for providing and receiving electrical service, detailed guidelines for safety regulations, installations and inspections as well as the responsibilities of the customer and Hydro Ottawa Limited.
